Wrapt in Rocky Testimonials

“I attended the first Wrapt in Rocky back in 2008, this was the first ever fibre arts forum that I had attended. And it was fabulous! I have attended every Wrapt since then. The experience of being able to immerse oneself for 5 days with one tutor is heaven, the new processes and techniques learnt, as well as the time to play is the cake for me! Having the opportunity to connect with new and old friends whilst enjoying yummy food that someone else has prepared is the icing on that cake!”Peta Lloyd – Central Queensland Artist – Printmaker, Collage, Assemblage and Artists Books

“I have been to each of the Wrapt in Rocky since they began… Completely recommend to anyone one that just wants to switch off from the rest of the world, and have a wonderful week, with excellent tutors, great company, lots of fun and something that everybody should experience.”
Pam Wilson – Member of Fibres and Fabric Inc – Townsville

“As participants at Wrapt in Rocky, 2008 and 2010, we have already signed up for 2012. Nanette organises an enjoyable and professional forum in a great venue, with great food, great company and great tutors. What more could you ask for, sign up and join the crowd for a fun and rewarding learning experience.”
Rhonda & Judi from Hervey Bay & Maryborough

“Wrapt in Rocky provides the opportunity for remote artists to attend an event where tutors from Australia and overseas are there to accept students in small classes. The tuition received accelerates out self development in own chosen form of textile art. There is also the chance to sell our own work during the bazaar to help to offset the costs.. This event provides us with fun, inspiration, and many new friends. I always attend this event as it is the best. Nanette’s enthusiasm ensures this success.”
Barb Neunhoffer from Townsville: Student at all 4 Wrapt events; Artist, Basket Maker, Book Maker, and Free Machine Embroiderer

“I cannot recommend Wrapt in Rocky too highly. While I know that other workshops might offer similar tutors, it can be the extras that make the workshop really zing. And I think Wrapt in Rocky has that….”
Lorraine Lamothe – Artist from Far North Qld
