Phillipa Rooke has been making felt now for about 25 years and is currently very involved in teaching of felt making and remains passionate about her craft and the quality of handmade felt in Australia.

Phillipa established a felting group in Brisbane some years ago, and organised the 6th Southern Hemisphere Felting Convergence in Queensland in 2001.  She has also organised several felting exhibitions and her work has been exhibited in Australia and Europe, and is in several private collections.
