Soraya Abidin has a Bachelor Arts Degree in Visual Arts and a Diploma of Education, Design and Technology and Visual Arts.

She has a vast history within the Textile, Art and Design Industry which began with her own fashion label ‘Weathergirl’.   Soraya is currently a practising Contemporary Craft artist.  Her range of works transcends large wall pieces, to the 3D sculptural form.

Prize winning Street artist, and Teacher specialising in Textile based HSC projects, in 2011, Soraya began tutoring and sharing her love of Sashiko & The Art of Surface Embellishment with adults.
