Dust off your loom and learn some exciting ways of working with colour in your weaving. Explore the technique of ikat, where warp (and weft) threads are bound to resist dye and to leave other areas to accept dye to create an interesting design.

Apply different dyeing techniques and direct warp painting and colour enhancing techniques to your warp and weft prior to weaving. Aim to design and weave your own silk scarf.

A basic knowledge of loom weaving is the only prerequisite. (Use a 2 or 4 shaft loom).
