Introducing 3 new classes for Wrapt in Rocky 2016

In my search for new relevant and challenging classes for Wrapt in Rocky 2016 I have found 3 wonderful artists able to offer you something different.

Firstly there is Gabriella Hegyes and her Mixed Media Installationsclass. Are you one of those artists trying to extend yourself by creating installations for public art, festivals or community events but feel you need more expertise and practical skills in how to do this? Gabriella has many techniques in dying, printmaking, mould making and other and sculptural processes to share with you. These skills will crossover with your current fibre arts, design and construction skills.

Secondly I was taken by Dawna Richardson Hyde’s class called “The Artists Journey as it presents a fresh approach to reinvigorate your creative process. If you have asked yourself the questions…. “Where do I begin? What do I want to make? What prevents me from working creatively? How can I make work that is personal and authentic?” this class is for you.

Lastly I chose Penny Eamer’s fabric sculpture class Mossy Hollowbecause the combination of fabric sculpture techniques, stitchery and making of small creatures was intriguing, versatile and quirky and certainly something new for Wrapt students. Penny Eamer is from Miles and is one of two Qld regional tutors teaching for Wrapt in Rocky 2016.
